Welcome to my website!

My name is Elena Carter, and I write stories and poetry.

My debut fantasy novel “Follow the Hummingbird”, the first book of The Dream Tamer Chronicles, was released in 2021. The second book in the series is “Follow the Blue Rabbit” and the final part of the trilogy is “Follow the Dragonfly”. You can find more information on them when you click the “Books” tab in the main menu.

You’ll also find a book of 100 friendly reminders, Snacks for the Soul, and two poetry collections, Reflections and (mostly) good thoughts.

I am currently working on my next poetry book and a cozy fantasy novel.

In the ”Blog” section you will find my thoughts and insights on life general and writing life in particular, as well as some of my poems.
